FINCA Zambia participated in the inaugural Zambia National Responsible Business and CSR Awards, which were hosted by CSR Network Zambia (CSRNZ) on the 29th of November 2019. CSRNZ is a professional multi-stakeholder organization established to engage individuals and businesses to strengthen their commitment to sustainable development and help in the attainment of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Winners were nominated from diverse sectors and industries that have created a positive impact towards Zambia’s sustainable development. FINCA Zambia’s award was in recognition of our Corporate Social Investment in community empowerment through our financial literacy initiatives and community engagement. Initiatives conducted that were recognized include support rendered to Ngombe Clinic, Kafue Estates Clinic, Kabundi East Clinic One Stop Center, Matero After Care Center, Mazabuka Prison and Financial Literacy sessions with Farmers in Kasenengwa to name a few.

Noting our mission and passion for empowering the communities we work in, this award enhances our resolve to do more in regards to corporate social investment.
